The indications are that the European Union is going to be taking a much tougher stance with the United States in regards to its discriminatory laws regarding online gambling.
It has been reported by a number of online casino sites that the European Union is going to launch a complaint with the World Trade Organisation in regards to the restriction of trade in this area.
The complaint is supposedly being raised due to the damage that has been caused to one of the major online gambling operations whose shares are listed in Europe.
There are a number of Online Gambling operations who are publicly listed companies. Amongst them are the likes of Party Gaming and Playtech who provide online casino software to operations like Windows Casino.
This issue will probably rumble on until after the next election in the USA.
